I just saw the 1968 "The Planet Of The Apes"!It is something really groovy man.

the remake of the 1968 version is shit, I'm not talking about the one that came out this year with andy serkis as ceasar. I'm talking about the awful one that came out in 2001 that Tim Burton made.

Conney is totally right.I think the 2001 one is focused only on the action and these 2(1968 & 2011) are focused more on groovy phylosophical messages.Not to mention the bad acting in the 2001 one.

Actually I haven't even seen the 2001 one but from the trailer I can perfectly see the crappy Tim Burton perspective of such a great sci-fi.
